FAIRHOPE Doris Montell Perdue, age 89, a native of Mobile and longtime resident of Fairhope, passed away in Huntsville on Tuesday, July 26, 2011. She was a member of the Montrose Garden Club and one of the founding members of the Eastern Shore Doll Study Club, where she served as their first president. She was also an active member in Toastmistress. Her hobbies included ceramics, as well as making and dressing porcelain dolls. She also had a passion for bridge. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Roscoe “Buddy” Perdue, Jr., and her parents, Leon Grady and Magdalene Mann Ozier. She is survived by her Sons, Daniel Grady and his wife Silvia Perdue of Houston , TX , Richard Terry Perdue of Huntsville , AL , her grandson, Richard Cooper Perdue of Montrose, AL, brother, Leslie Grady Ozier, niece, Leslie Lynn Ambrosiano, both of Lousville , KY , many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Saturday, July 30, 2011, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Graveside services and interment will be held in Memory Gardens of Fairhope, Sunday, July 31, 2011, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the animal humane society of your choice.
