Sarah Crain Pierce

FAIRHOPE, AL Sarah Crain Pierce, age 77, a native of Memphis, TN and a resident of Fairhope, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Sarah was a founding member of Fish River Baptist Church. Mrs. Pierce and her husband were the owners and operators of Pierce Brahma Farms, as well as Pierce Tile and Marble. She was a sweet loving mother and nanna and will be deeply missed. Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard A. Pierce, Jr., sons, Charles L. Wood, Jr., and Larry P. Wood. She is survived by her daughter, Nichole Pierce Brenny and her husband Mike of Fairhope, AL, sons, Chase A. Pierce of Fairhope, AL, Terry Wood and his wife Cathy, David Wood, all of Birmingham, AL, step daughter, Vicki Pierce of Mobile, AL, grandchildren, Sarah Madison Brenny, Nolan Pierce Brenny, Jackson Wood, Carolyn Wood, Mary Blakely Wood, Shannon Wood, sisters, Paula Spain, Carol Harris, both of Birmingham, AL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Friday, July 15, 2011, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held from Fish River Baptist Church, Saturday, July 16, 2011, at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Timney South River Park Cemetery.
