Joe Lynn Bailey

FAIRHOPE, ALJoe Lynn Bailey, age 70, departed this life on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at his residence in Fairhope, AL. He was a native of Canyon, TX. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, Fairhope, AL, a long time member of the Gideons International and retired from Bausch & Lomb in 1997. Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Sandra Bailey of Fairhope, AL; three daughters, Kimberly Bailey of Mobile, AL, Laura (Kevin) Preisendorf of Birmingham, AL and Katy (Bryan) Sheffield of Birmingham, AL; one brother, Jerry Bailey of Amarillo, TX; one sister, Melody (Drew) Davis of Amarillo, TX; six grandchildren, Kristen Bailey, Ariel Preisendorf , Max Preisendorf, James Sheffield, Emma Sheffield and Anna Kate Sheffield; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 3:00PM at Grace Fellowship Church, 19993 County Road 33, Fairhope, AL. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the church from 1:00 PM until time of the service. A private interment service will be in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 127, Fairhope, AL. 36533.
