Cecil Austin Parrish, Sr.

SPANSH FORT   Cecil Austin Parrish, Sr. age 78, a native of Smithfield, NC and a long time resident of Spanish Fort passed away at his home on Sunday, June 12, 2011.   He was the founder, owner and long time operator of Parrish Tire and Service Center in Daphne, AL.  He proudly left the business in the capable hands of his three sons, Austin, Drew and Freeman Parrish and loyal friend Tommy Danner.   Cecil is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lois Craven Parrish; three sons, Austin (Valerie) Parrish, Jr, Drew (Polly) Parrish, Freeman (Harriet) Parrish all of Spanish Fort; one daughter Melody Parrish (Ronnie) Pharez of Fairhope; ten grandchildren, Meredith Parrish (Josh) South, Stacy, Andrew, Mark and Michael Parrish, Joe, Sam and Ronni Pharez, Braxton and Brandy Parrish   The family will receive friends at the Spanish Fort Church of Christ, on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 6:30 PM until 7:00 PM.    A Memorial service will be held from the Spanish Fort Church of Christ, immedialely following the visitation.   Private graveside services will be held in Jubilee Memorial Gardens.   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 27409 U.
