George W. Nelson, Jr.

BON SECOUR, AL George W. Nelson, Jr. age 79, and a native of Mobile, AL, and a life time resident of BonSecour, AL passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011. He was a member of Victory Life Church and was a master wood carver. Mr. Nelson is preceded in death by a son, Ricky Nelson. Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife of thirty seven years, Betty Nelson of Bon Secour, AL; two sons, Randy ( Rebel) Nelson of Morganza, LA and Rodney (Peggy) Nelson of Bon Secour, AL; two daughters, RoxAnne (Nick) Scozzafava of Silverhill, AL and Michelle (Tom) Engebretson of Bon Secour, AL;daughter-in-law, Sandy Nelson of Bon Secour, AL; one sister, Janie Howard of Jay, FL; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren. Also survived by mother of his children Lorna Dale Cook The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Victory Life Church, Foley from 2:00PM until time of the service at 3:00PM.
