Laverne M. Darnell

FAIRHOPE Laverne M. Darnell passed away Friday, May 13, 2011 in Fairhope at the age of 77. She was a native of Vernant Park and a resident of Fairhope. Mrs. Darnell was a member of Eastern Shore Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Leon Darnell of Fairhope; three daughters, Linda Rayborn Chupek of Fairhope, Karen Rayborn Aldridge of Pelham, Cheryl Rayborn Brister of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; three stepsons, Henry Darnell of Saraland, Don Darnell of Waynesville, NC, Ricky Darnell of Grand Bay; two stepdaughters, Cindy Darnell Bishop of Fairhope, Jamie Darnell Logan of Robertsdale; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Lou Vickers of Bon Secour and Irma Price of Pensacola, FL. Mrs. Darnell was preceded in death by two sisters, Earline Ware, Alma Ware; four brothers, Dewell Morgan, J.T. Morgan, R.C. Morgan and Marvin Morgan. Visitation will beTuesday, May 17, 2011 from 10-11 am at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
