Barbara Helen Allen

SPANISH FORT, AL   Barbara Helen Allen passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Spanish Fort, AL  at the age of 83.   She was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.  Barbara was a member of the Friends of the Daphne Public Library and the Line Dancers club and the choir at Westminster Village .  She wrote, directed and acted in a Westminster murder mystery dinner theater event for the residents at Westminster Village .  Barbara was a longtime former employee of the Senior Citizen's Services Inc. in Mobile , AL .   Barbara is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Allen, Sr. of Spanish Fort, AL; five daughters, Marilyn McKellar of Charlotte, NC,  Barbara "Taffy" Stephens of Wales, UK,  Claudia Jones of Wales, UK,  Nancy Anderson of Daphne, AL,  Wendy Allen of Pittsboro, NC;  one step-daughter, Deborah Walters of Jacksonville, FL one step-son, Ronald E. Allen, Jr. of San Gabriel, CA;  nine grandchildren and one great grandson.  Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM on April 16, 2011 at Pete Allen Room at Westminster Village , Spanish Fort, AL .   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 27409 U.
