Joseph Stuart Gardiner

FAIRHOPE, AL Joseph Stuart Gardiner, age 68, a native of Manitoba, Canada, and resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011. He was a world class alpine skier, an avid horseman, rodeo rider, and played NHL with the New York Rangers.  He was a member of A Mystic Organization and retired from Southern Light in Mobile, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Judy D. Gardiner of Fairhope, AL, 2 sons, Jeff Gardiner of Alberta, Canada, Joel Walker (Phyllis) of Grand Bay, AL, 2 daughters, Erin Gardiner Mondor (Dexter) of Saskatchewan, Canada, Stephanie Walker Winkler of Antioch, IL, Sister, Iris Harper of Manitoba, Canada, Brother, George Gardiner of Alberta, Canada 9 grandchildren, Other relatives and friends. Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 4:00 pm, from Magnolia Beach Town Homes at 710 S. Mobile Street in Fairhope, AL.
