Hollis W. Dees

DEES ELBERTA, AL Hollis W. Dees, age 89, a native of Jemison, AL and resident of Foley, AL, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011. She retired from Golden Living Center after 27 years of working in the cafeteria and as a cook and was in home care service for a number of years. Mrs. Dees was of Baptist faith. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Mike) Kaiser of Elberta, AL, Son, Harry Franklin Hubbart of Atmore, AL, Husband, Andrew Dees of Evergreen, AL, Sisters, Alvis Morrison, Billie Dailey, Doris Hoffman, Eva Mae Karr, Shirley Lance, all of Birmingham, AL, Brother, Travis Dailey of Birmingham, AL 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, Other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 11:00 am, from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley, AL. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will be in Rock Cemetery, Robertsdale, AL. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Golden Living Center in Foley, AL, 1701 North Alston Street Foley, AL 36535.
