Walter Cole Holman, Sr.

  SUMMERDALE   Walter Cole Holman, Sr., age 79, a native of Foley and a resident of Summerdale, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Mr. Holman was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict   Walter was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He will be remembered for his true devotion and love for his family and compassion for all others.  He always put others before himself and will be missed by all who knew him.   Walter is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Norma J. Holman of Summerdale, three sons, Walter Holman and his wife Becky of Austin, TX, Fred Holman and his wife Donna of Foley, Terry Holman and his wife Jerri of Summerdale, one daughter, Glenda Torres of Dallas , TX , nine loving sisters, two brothers, twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his loving pet of 13 years, Jesse.   The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Sunday, March 6, 2011, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.   Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Monday, March 7, 2011, at 10:00am.   Interment will follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park .   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 19698 GREENO ROAD FAIRHOPE , AL 36532
