Robert H. Wise

  POINT CLEAR , AL   Robert H. Wise passed away peacefully, February 21, 2011, at a local hospital, with his family by his side. Mr. Wise was a resident of Lakewood Estates, Pt. Clear, AL, since 1975, and was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret, and second wife, Bobbie, two brothers, Donald and Louis, two nephews, Donald and David Wise.  Mr. Wise was born in 1916 in Clifton Hts., PA, graduated from the U of Penn, the Wharton School of Business, had a life-time career with Gulf Oil and the BF Goodrich-Gulf Chemicals Co, with whom he served as VP of Finance.  During WWII, the US government assigned Mr. Wise to a taskforce developing a synthetic rubber compound to assist in the war effort.   Mr. Wise is survived by his wife Blanche Langham Wise, His son, Rob, Daughter-in-law, Dorothea Wise, His daughter, Judy Wise, Grandchildren, Robert J. Wise and Margo Wise Krugger, Great grandchildren, Robbie, Maryn, and Ava May Wise, And nieces, Sherry Degraff and Terry Langsea, Three step children, Candace Lynn, Stephen Gibson, and Gay Gibson, And four step grandchildren, Bill and Chris Lynn and Cody and Ashlyn Pierce.   Mr. Wise was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church for 22 years and served as an elder and choir member.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, and Lakewood Golf Club. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 26, at 2pm, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Fairhope , AL with a reception immediately following in the Church fellowship hall.   Private interment will be in Montrose Cemetery .   In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Trinity Presbyterian Church, Fairhope, AL, or The John McClure Snook Center, Daphne, AL.   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC 19698 GREENO ROAD FAIRHOPE , AL 36532
