Delphia "Sandy" Mae Bishop

SUMMERDALE, AL Delphia Mae “Sandy” Bishop, age 85, a native of Loogootee, IN, and a resident of Summerdale, AL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 18, 2011, after a four and a half year fight against leukemia. Mrs. Bishop is a former member of Faith Baptist Church of Fairhope. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Col. James M. Bishop (U. S. Army Ret.) of Fairhope, sons, Ron Bishop of Rochester Hills, MI, Mike Bishop of Madison, IN, Mark Bishop of Orlando, FL, sisters, Mable Rainey of Ownesboro, KY, Roberta Stone of Foley, AL, Rowena Armstrong of Foley, AL, brothers, Robert Stone of Franklin, KY, Paul Stone of Bowling Green, KY, Bill Stone of New Burgh, IN, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Thursday, January 20, 2011, from 12:00pm until 2:30pm.
