James W. "Rabbit" Harris

FOLEY, AL James W. "Rabbit" Harris went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the age of 70. He was a native of Pigeon Creek, AL, former resident of Niagara Falls, NY and a resident of Foley, AL. Rabbit is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nancy L. Harris of Foley, AL; six sons, Jerome Porter, Darryl Harris, Derek Johnson, James A. Harris, Jason Harris, Antwain Harris; four daughters, Gwendolyn Harris, Tonya Kay Harris, Chantelle Gancerez, Chameika Harris; two sisters, Patricia Blackmon, Mary Louise Jones; special uncle, Cecil Harris; twenty-eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Lee Harris, Todd Nathan Harris, his mother, Earthie Lee Jones; and two brothers, James McKinnon and Paul Jones. Visitation will be Friday, February 18, 2011 from 5-7 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
