Randall "Randy" Horace Dowsey

FAIRHOPE, AL   Randall Horace Dowsey, age 58, a native and resident of Fairhope, AL, died Saturday, February 12, 2011, in a boating accident off the coast of Louisiana, along with his brother Wayne Dowsey.   Randy retired from Alabama Power Company after 36 years of service.   He is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Donna B. Dowsey, sons, R. Brent Dowsey and his wife Jennifer, Heath B. Dowsey, grandchildren, Drew, Carson, Alli and Tristyn, mother, Beth Ring,  all of Fairhope, father, Paul J. Dowsey of Silverhill, brother, Mark T. Dowsey and his wife Lynn of Fairhope, father-in-law, Ernest Bub Bishop of Fairhope, special family friend, Brittany Turner, of Fairhope, nieces, other relatives and friends.   The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Wednesday, February 16, 2011, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.   Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Thursday, February 17, 2011, at 10:00 am.   Graveside services will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Children’s Hospital of Alabama, 1600 7 th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233, www.chsys.org .   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 19698 GREENO ROAD FAIRHOPE, AL 36532
