Sarah Jane Roberts

ROBERTS FOLEY, ALABAMA Sarah Jane Roberts, Age 87, A native of Summerdale, AL, and a resident of Foley, AL, died on Friday, February 4, 2011 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Roberts. She will always be remembered as a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a wonderful homemaker, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and attended St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She is survived by three daughters, Eulynne (Percy) Williams, Elaine (Jim) Lauder, and Becky (Doug) Lipscomb all of Foley, AL, one son, Denson (Mary) Freeman of Magnolia Springs, AL; one brother, Buddy Merchant of Robertsdale, AL; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 11:00am at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00am until time of the service. Interment will be in Pine Rest Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Community Hospice, and to the loving caregivers, Sharon, LaKesha, Henrietta, Kenya, Pam and Sandra who cared for Mrs. Roberts as if she was their own mother.
