DAPHNE Dr. Frank Leonard Selman, age 84, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 in Daphne. He was a native of Birmingham, raised in Rockford and was a current resident of Daphne. Dr. Selman was a member and a deacon at the First Baptist Church in Fairhope and proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Linnie Selman; sister Betty Towns and brothers David Selman and Charles Selman. He is survived by his wife, Ethel R. Selman of Daphne; five sons, Frank Bingham "Bing" Selman of Indianapolis, IN; Robert "Bob" Rowan (Sherry) Selman of Daphne; Roger Lynn (Sherry) Selman of Newport, NC; Philip Lowe (Glenda) Selman of Gadsden ; Samuel Keith (Monica) Selman of Laredo, TX; two daughters, Spring Ander (Gordon) Lindell of Daphne; Sarrona Bell (Brian) Wilson of Spanish Fort; one sister, Lois Allen of Florence; thirteen grand-children and five great grand-children. Visitation will be Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Funeral services will be on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
