Douglas F. Lowell, Sr.

LOWELL, SR. Douglas F. Lowell, Sr., age 88, a native of Point Clear, AL and a resident of Fairhope, AL, died on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Lowell loved his family and farming. He was a avid mullet fisherman and a WW II Navy Veteran. He is preceded in death by three sons, Carol Ernest Lowell, Lloyd Wayne Lowell and Dennis Eugene Lowell. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Lowell; one daughter, Linda (Joseph) Turner; three sons, Doug (Stephanie) Lowell, Jr., Michael (Terry) Lowell and Donald (Nancy) Lowell; two sisters, Genevieve Pierce and Doris Shull all of Fairhope, AL; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 11:00AM at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00AM until time of the service. Interment will be in Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
