Clarence C. "Whitey" Whiten, Sr.

FOLEY, AL Clarence C. “Whitey” Whiten, Sr., age 86, a native of Milstead, GA and a resident of Foley, AL, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011. Mr. Whiten was an Army Veteran.  He owned several car dealerships in Georgia and was a well known community leader.  Clarence was devoted and dedicated to his family. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Berry Whiten, sons, Clarence C. “Whitey” Whiten, Jr. and his wife Melissa, Kenneth Whiten and Linda Cate, all of Foley, daughter, Kathy Hall of Gainesville, GA, grandchildren, Lauren Whiten of Suwannee, GA, Lindsay Whiten of Atlanta, GA, Chris Whiten of Suwannee, GA, Paige Hall of Atlanta, GA, other relatives and friends. The family will have private services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Odyssey Hospice, 2800 Dauphin Street,Suite 103,Mobile, AL  36606.
