Mary Pearl Woods Dooley

FAIRHOPE Mary Pearl Woods Dooley, age 87, died December 21, 2010, at her home in Fairhope, Alabama, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Dooley was born on March 27, 1923, the only child of Marcus Leroy and Mary Pearl Woods. She grew up in Water Valley, MS. After attending college in Bardstown, KY, she fell in love, married, and moved to Middlesboro, KY. She leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Edward Moore Dooley, and 12 children: Teresa Cloud, Mark (Kathy) Dooley, Bill (Rosanna) Dooley, Bo Dooley, Becky (Carl) Lundberg, Brian (Charlisa) Dooley, Jeanne Dooley, Shay (Richard) Sims, Chris Dooley, Casey Dooley, John Dooley, and Kerry (Bill) Lehmberg. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren who will cherish her memory and mind their manners, Kayla Cloud, Chelsea Cloud, Eddie (Alex) Dooley, Amanda (Eric) Griffin, Lucas Dooley, Sarah Dooley, Erin Dooley, Caitlin Dooley, Buck (Summer) Kelley, Toby (Megan) Kelley, Andy Kelley, Kristjen (Ben Welchel) Lundberg, Matt Lundberg, Meg Lundberg, Jana Sims, Reggie Dooley, and 3 great grandchildren: Jack Dooley, Finn Dooley, and Blakeley Kelley. Our mother had a rich and happy life and enjoyed many things, most of all her family, friends, and church. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010, at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope, AL. Interment will be at Belforest Catholic Cemetery.
